Data file didn’t close properly

Now whenever I open Outlook I get the following message;
“The data file was not closed properly. This file is being checked for problems.”

Now an icon of two gears has appeared in the lower right hand corner for three days now.

Email empty when changing signature

After composing my email I changed my signature. When doing that it deleted all the text from the message. What happened and how can I prevent this from happening?

Backup Outlook settings

How can I backup my Outlook settings and especially my email account configuration?

Dialog box is open

I am getting a message saying;
“A dialog box is open. Close it and try again.”

This happens when I try and create a new mail message. However there is no dialog box open.

Synchronizing folders

Outlook is constantly “synchronizing folders.” What is this? How can I stop this? It’s slowing down my computer.

Could not find an editor for H (.) files

When creating a new signature in Outlook 2003 on Vista I get the followin error when I press the Advanced Edit… button;

Open XNK-files (Outlook links)

I just upgraded from Office 2003 to 2007. I attempt to open an Outlook link with file extension XNK, but I receive the error message “Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. The command line argument is not valid. Verify the switch you are using.”

Junk E-mail Filter not working

All Junk Email is still received to my Inbox. It doesn’t seem to filter out anything even when I’ve added the sender to my blocked list.

Not a personal folders file

I’ve backed up my pst-file and am now trying to import it in Outlook but it gives me the error;
“The file Outlook.pst is not a personal folders file”

How can I solve this? I don’t want to lose my email.

Command line not valid when attaching via addin

After installing Office 2003 Service Pack 3, my Scan-to-Email function on my scanner now generates an error message from Outlook:

“The command line argument is not valid. Verify the switch you are using.”

Did not have any problems with this until SP3 was installed.
