Internet Explorer crashes when using OWA

I use Outlook Web Access to access my work email from home. When I access the webmail everything works fine. However, when I try and send an email from webmail the entire program shuts down and reboots my Internet Explorer.

How can I prevent this crash from happening?

Keyboard shortcuts for Outlook on the Web, OWA and Outlook.com

I’m a real “keyboard junkie” and am quite familiar with the keyboard shortcuts that are available in Outlook itself.

Sometimes I use the web based version of Outlook and often forget that it isn’t the Desktop version but was pleasantly surprised that some of the keyboard shortcuts still work.

Is there a list of available keyboard shortcuts for Outlook on the Web?

Disable or customize the Delete, Mark as Read, Flag and Pin action icons when hovering on a message in Outlook on the Web (OWA)

When I use Outlook on the Web (OWA), and then hover with my mouse over a message, the following Quick Action icons become visible;

  • Delete
  • Mark as Read/Unread
  • Flag
  • Pin

I sometimes have a bit of a “trigger finger” and worry that I might hit the Delete icon by mistake. Also, as Outlook on the Desktop doesn’t support the Pin feature, I don’t use that either.

Can I somehow disable some of these Quick Action icons and assign other commands to them like Archive or Move?

Always show all folders and hide Office 365 Groups in Outlook on the Web (OWA)

We’re using Office 365 for Business and when I logon to Outlook on the Web (OWA) via my browser, I only see a few of my folders and always have to click on “More” to see them all.

Below that, there is a huge “Groups” section that we don’t use and I’d like to hide that.

Is there any way to always show all my folders directly after logging on to the Outlook webpage?

Cannot create new messages in OWA

I am unable to write anything in the body of a new message on Outlook Web Access and it shows as a broken image (red cross). I am also unable to reply to any existing message or create any other new item.

Is this something I need to fix in Internet Explorer or is this issue on the server?

Switching between Address Lists in Outlook on the Web (OWA 2016 and 2019)

Using Outlook on the Web, when I click on the To button to address an email, I can only see my own contacts and not the internal contacts from my company (Global Address List).

When I switch to the People section, I do see my company’s “Directory” so I know it is there.

How can I switch between my Address Lists when addressing an email and can I also change the defaults Address List as I can do in Outlook?

What is what exactly and what do I use it for when?
