Mailto links do not open Outlook

When clicking on a mailto link, Outlook used to get opened and I could write my email. Now, when I click on a mailto link, it brings up Gmail while I don’t even have a Gmail account. I’ve already made sure that Outlook has been set as my default mail client in Windows, but mailto links still bring me to Gmail.
How can I get mailto link to open with Outlook again?

Flag completed time not showing

In Outlook 2003 when an item was flagged, and subsequently marked Complete, the email would show the date and time it was de-flagged and marked as complete. In 2007, it is only showing the date.
How do I get it to show both the completed date and time again?

Editing message increases message size

Using your previous tip, I’ve removed some unneeded text from a message that I received (a long signature and some old replies). However, I’ve noticed that now the message actually is larger. I was expecting it to be smaller since I’ve only removed text and not added any.

How is this possible and how can I prevent this?

Editing received messages and subjects

Is there any way to edit a received message?
I sometimes receive a message without a subject or with lots of unneeded text (like a big signature or a long list of previous addresses). I’d like to keep the rest of the message, and just strip that content or add a subject.

Showing icons in To-Do List

I know the To-Do List contains all tasks and flagged items. However, from the To-Do List in the To-Do Bar, I cannot directly see what kind of item I’m dealing with; a task, mail or contact.
The To-Do List in the Tasks section shows the difference via an icon.
Can I make this icon visible in the To-Do Bar as well?

Receiving empty emails

Lately I’ve been receiving empty emails, some even don’t have a From, To or Subject field either. I’m not sure if these are just spam messages or if I simply no longer can see the message content.
How can I found that out and when they are spam messages, how can I block them?

No Date at bottom of To-Do List

When looking at my To-Do List, it always starts with the items that have no Due Date before it shows Today’s items which I would like to focus on.
