► Continue to the answerThe date on my emails is now dd/mm/yyyy, but I want it to be mm/dd/yyyy.
Where do I change that date format?
► Continue to the answerI am facing an issue where my username automatically appears in the body of any email reply/forward.
Whenever I hit on the spacebar as the first character to start off editing of the quoted email message, my username will appear as [John] in the email message.
Is there any way to turn this off?
► Continue to the answerFollowing up on your yesterday’s tip; I attach a file quite often and use some other commands with long keyboard sequences quite often as well.
Is there any way I can do this quicker instead of typing this (not intuitive) keyboard sequence?
The tooltips of some commands do not show their keyboard shortcuts (like for instance “Attach File”).
Do I always have to use my mouse for this or are there any hidden shortcuts for or can I create my own?
I often get a lot of picture attachments. Instead of opening them one by one can I get them to display all at once so I can scroll through them easily or open them as a slideshow?
► Continue to the answerYesterday’s tip was about getting rid of the EULA notification but have you taken the time to read it before?
It’s actually worth it as it states that you can use it on a second device as well within the same single license without any additional cost.
How does it work?
Every time I start Outlook, the Microsoft End-User License Agreement, comes up on the screen. I must have accepted it a dozen times right now.
Is there a way to make this go away permanently?
► Continue to the answerWhenever I send an attachment through Outlook, the recipient receives the email without the attachment.
It happens to all attachments regardless of who I send it to and the format of the file (eg PDF, Word, jpg, etc). If send the same attachment through web mail or from another computer, the attachment remains intact and is received in the email.
I’ve tried turning off my anti-virus program but that’s not made any difference, so I’m assuming the issue must be within Outlook itself.
