Hide flagged items of other mailbox in To-Do Bar

I've got an additional account in Outlook which I share with someone else. We often flag emails for each other which then show up in the To-Do Bar as well were it mixes with my own tasks and flagged mails.

I tried to disable this mailbox from displaying reminders in the To-Do Bar but that options appears not to be available.

Is there a way to only show tasks and reminders from emails in my personal mailbox and not from another?

Flags with reminders for IMAP accounts

I'm trying to set a reminder on a message but I only have the option to flag it or to clear the flag. There are no options such as Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week, etc... which I'm supposed to get. This might have something to do with the fact that I'm using a IMAP account. Is there still a way to mark my messages for follow up or at least get them to show up as a Task in my To-Do Bar?

Time zone independent appointments and tasks

When I change time zones, I don’t want some appointments and tasks to be adjusted. For instance, I have a daily recurring task to take my medicine at 2PM and a weekly recurring appointment to hit the gym twice a week at 5PM. When I change time zones, they could suddenly fall in the middle of the night, which doesn’t make sense.

Can I create appointments and tasks with such “absolute times” so that they always happen at those times regardless of which time zone I’m in?

Gmail and To-Do List duplicates

Whenever I mark a message for follow up with a flag, I see that message 2 or even 3 times in the To-Do List. If I clear the flag the other items remain and only go away after a longer period of time or when I restart Outlook. Why is this and how can I get rid of these duplicates?

Reminders for archives and additional pst-files

I’m storing a couple of my Outlook folders outside of my default mailbox (inside a separate pst-file). When I flag messages in this folder and add a reminder I get the following error;

“The reminder for “<subject>” will not appear because the item is in a folder that doesn’t support reminders. Is this OK?”

How can I add reminder support to this folder?

Showing icons in To-Do List

I know the To-Do List contains all tasks and flagged items. However, from the To-Do List in the To-Do Bar, I cannot directly see what kind of item I'm dealing with; a task, mail or contact. The To-Do List in the Tasks section shows the difference via an icon. Can I make this icon visible in the To-Do Bar as well?

No Date at bottom of To-Do List

When looking at my To-Do List, it always starts with the items that have no Due Date before it shows Today's items which I would like to focus on. How can I configure Outlook to show items without a Due Date at the bottom and Today's tasks at the top?

Empty Task List in To-Do Bar

Today I started Outlook and my Task List was completely empty which is (sadly) definitely not the case. At the top there is some flashing/scrolling red bar and it says that it is still loading but after waiting a few hours and restarting Outlook, it is still empty. How can I make my tasks visible again in the To-Do Bar?

Show more calendar months in Date Navigator

There is a little monthly calendar in Outlook where you can click on a date and then it will open up your calendar at this date. This is very useful to me but when nearing the end of the month, it is becoming less useful as less future dates become visible. Is there any way that I can view more months?

Tasks show up multiple times

When I add a task to my Tasks folder, it is added twise. When I delete one, it deletes the other as well. How can I get rid of these duplicates?

Reminders keep popping up

I've dismissed several appointments but they keep coming back up in the Reminders Window. Aside from deleting the appointment items (which I do not want to do), how can I dismiss these items permanently?

Printing Calendar and Tasks of delegate

I've got delegate permssions to the Calendar and Tasks list of my manager. However, when I try to print the Calendar of my manager, it prints with my task list and not the one of my manager. How can I print the combination of calendar and tasks of my manager only?

The Outlook To-Do Bar is too cluttered

In Outlook 2003 and previous the Task Pad only listed my tasks. I also used flagging to mark some messages. Now in Outlook 2007 these are all combined in the To-Do Bar. How do I get the Task Pad back?
