Spaces in filename breaks hyperlink
In our organization we often send text based hyperlinks to folders and files we work on. Most of the time I just copy the path out of Explorer and insert it into the message body and put file:// if front of it so that Outlook will automatically create a link out of it.
This works great except if the file or foldername contains spaces. Then it breaks the hyperlink at the first space.
How can I make Outlook to create a link including spaces? Renaming the files and folders is not an option to us.
Poor Hotmail experience
My Outlook is really slow with Hotmail accounts but fine on anything POP3.
It doesn't seem to keep a record of what's been synched already i.e.: if I do a send/recieve on a Hotmail Inbox it synchs the whole box - taking 20 minutes or so - but next time I load Outlook up they're all not synched again.
When I move to a Hotmail Inbox, it can be 30-60 seconds saying "synchronizing message headers" or times out with an error.
Is there a simple fix?
Old signature being used
I have updated my New and Reply signatures since my company changed names.
Everything works fine when emails are HTML format, but when I Reply or Forward a Plain Text email, my OLD SIGNATURE is applied. I don't even see the old signature in the Signature Options!
Where can I access this phantom signature and update it?
Send Word document as email body
Sometimes I write a short document or letter in Word which I like to be reviewed by someone else first.
While I could send it as an attachment, I’d rather send the contents of the document in the email itself as it often allows for quicker review and replies for the reviewer.
Is there a quick way to achieve this?
Don’t receive all messages in Plain Text
Shade group headings
This is another one of my personal favorite settings in Outlook 2007 which I set pretty much directly after a new installation; Shade group headings
