I’ve installed an English version of Windows and also an English version of Office. However, when I go to my Calendar, I still see the names of the days and months in my native language (Dutch).

How can I switch this to English as well?

I’ve enabled my Out of Office Assistant (OOF) and have sent myself a message from my private account to see how it would arrive. Sadly, I never received this automatic reply.

Why isn’t it working and how can I make it work reliably?

I’ve received a message with images in it which are located on the Internet. Outlook blocks these images from being downloaded, but even when I tell Outlook to download the images they will not show.

I’ve completely disabled the picture blocking feature in Trust Center-> Automatic Download now and they still don’t download and only show the infamous broken image icon with a red X. This applies to all the emails that I get with Internet images from different senders so I know it is not an issue with how the message was composed or that the images are no longer available on the web server.

How can I get Outlook to download these images?

On occasion, I receive emails which are sent to multiple people. To keep the conversation intact, I use the Reply All button to respond. Only afterwards, I realized that I was only a BCC recipient in the original message and thus I now reveal myself to the rest which the original sender obviously did not want.

As this can be quite embarrassing not only to me but also to the original sender, is there any way that Outlook can warn me that I was only a BCC recipient for the email?

The weather doesn’t really seem to play along this Summer; it’s either lots of rain or draught, no sun at all or a bit too much sun and of course, for some of you it’s Winter now! But even though the weather might be a bit gloomy, it doesn’t mean that your Out of Office messages (OOF) have to be the same.

While you can maintain a serious business style OOF message for the outside world, how about a more cheerful notification message for your colleagues hard at (doing your) work?

We often see questions regarding getting new mail notifications when Outlook is closed. Ironically sometimes they are requests about how to get them and sometimes they are complaints about how to get rid of them.

I’ve configured Outlook to use POP3 to connect to my Gmail account but it did not download all my emails. While it did download my latest messages, it did not download my old messages.

After changing the time, location or attendees of a meeting, Outlook wants me to send out a meeting request update to everyone.

Is it possible to prevent sending out this update?

I’ve got a list of notes in Outlook’s Notes folder which I would like to print. However, as these notes are quite short, I wish to save some paper and print multiple notes on a single page.

I’ve tried selecting all the notes that I would like to print and then use the print option, but this does still make Outlook to print each note to a separate page.

How can I print my notes the way I want them to?
