I used to be able to run macros via Tools-> Macro menu either from within the main Outlook window or when creating a message. Now with the Ribbon, there seems to be no way to directly run a macro.

How can I run macros from a window with the Ribbon?

When I sent a message on behalf of someone via Exchange, that message is placed in my Sent Items folder and not in the Sent Items folder of the second mailbox.

How can I configure this?

I’m looking for a way to add more information to a contact but don’t want to put everything into the Notes field. The reason for this is that I then can no longer sort by it or use it into a mail merge which I would like as well.

I exported my contacts from Outlook Express on my old computer and now I want to import it into Outlook on my new computer. The file is in csv-format but when I try to import it into Outlook, I’m being prompted to Map Custom Fields but everything is just on a single line.

I’ve created a distribution list to send out a mailing and to hide the addresses from each other. However, when the message got delivered, it still showed all the email addresses.

Other newsletters I receive do also use a distribution list and then the addresses are not exposed.

I’ve got delegate permssions to the Calendar and Tasks list of my manager. However, when I try to print the Calendar of my manager, it prints with my task list and not the one of my manager.

Sometimes I hit CTRL+ENTER or ALT+S by mistake and off goes the message as it is Outlook’s shorcut for the Send button.

Is there any way I can prevent this from happening?

I’m having an issue with Outlook and one of the suggestions told me to start Outlook from the Run command with the /safe switch and check something. However, I’m in a corporate environment and the Run command has been disabled for us.

Is there an other way to troubleshoot Outlook or get into Safe Mode or should I call my IT department?
